Sky GoThe advent of new technologies has brought a revolutionary change in men’s life. A new service called Sky Go Extra is soon to arrive for smartphones and tablets within this week. It will compliment the existing Sky Go Live streaming application.

Sky has confirmed that it is a new download service that will allow Sky Subscribers to download movies and TV shows to their handsets and tabs for watching offline.

The existing Sky customers can download unlimited movies and TV shows for just £5 per month. Also, one subscription allows up to four users to benefit from the facility. The broadcaster is offering two month free trials to its subscribers.

Amazing but if you are in UK, Sky is the biggest store from where you can download your favourite series and latest movies in your Samsung Galaxy S3 and can watch it any time, anywhere. Earlier the streaming service of the television giant offered the users with live streaming of a vast number of TV shows and programmes.

The launch of Extra will make a complete Sky Go package that will enable the users to browse, live stream and download contents on their smartphone. It will offer features like iPlayer in iPhone 5 and other iOS devices. This is a great offering for the users who don’t get much time to watch TV.

The brand director of Sky, Luke Bradley-Jones said that they are adding hundreds of thousands of users every month and in last six months the service has become widely popular and rapidly adopted.

He added that the perspective about television is changing among the viewers, and all that matters now is the content. The whole experience of television has changed so watch your favourite TV show right on your mobile set.
